Detailed Itinerary
7 days, planned end to end
- Day 1
NJP / Bagdogra to Gangtok
Scenic drive along the Teesta. Evening at leisure on MG Marg. Overnight Gangtok.
- Day 2
Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir
Full-day excursion to the sacred glacial lake and the Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir at 13,000 ft. Overnight Gangtok.
- Day 3
Gangtok to Lachung
Drive north past waterfalls and the Chungthang confluence into Lachung. Overnight Lachung.
- Day 4
Yumthang Valley, return to Gangtok
Early excursion to the Valley of Flowers and hot springs, optional Zero Point, then drive back to Gangtok.
- Day 5
Gangtok to Pelling via Ravangla
Transfer west stopping at the Buddha Park in Ravangla and the Char Dham complex at Namchi. Overnight Pelling.
- Day 6
Pelling sightseeing
Sunrise over Kanchenjunga, then the Skywalk, Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdentse Ruins, Khecheopalri Lake, Kanchenjunga Falls and Rimbi. Overnight Pelling.
- Day 7
Pelling to NJP / Bagdogra
Morning drive back to the plains for your onward journey.
